Hydromulching is the most cost effective option for establishing turf on larger projects. The process of hydromulching involves spraying a slurry mixture of water, fiber mulch, fertilizer, and seed. There are multiple seed types available for hydromulch application but the most common here in North Texas is Bermuda grass seeding for full sun areas.

The slurry is applied from a truck- or trailer-mounted tank and is sprayed via hoses. This makes hydromulching also beneficial for sloped areas and other areas with limited access for equipment.

The ideal time of the year for the warm season turf grass seeding like Bermuda is during the spring and summer months. With warmer temperatures the seed starts to germinate with 7-14 days and you are off to a beautiful lush green lawn.
